Recently Facebook has updated its new feature for messenger
app for Android and iOS platform with a free voice calling feature for India. This
feature already in used by other instant messengers such as Line, WeChat and Viber.
Users can now make voice calls using Mobile Data Network or WiFi
whereas data charges are apply but calls are free. The feature was launched in
USA last year and feature is powered by the “Voice Over Internet Protocol Technology”.
How to make a free call?
- Open a Message Thread
- Tap on the Menu Button
- Choose the Free Call Option
You can make calls to those contacts who have installed this
version of the app.
