Samsung Galaxy S5 to launch in India on March 27

Samsung is now ready to launch its New Galaxy Series (Samsung Galaxy S5) in India on March 27. Media gets invitations by the company for the launch event in New Delhi on the said date. The new Samsung Galaxy S5 expects to make available by second week of April with the prices above Rs 45,000 in India

Display/Screen & Processor

• 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD (1920x1080 pixels) resolution 
• This touchscreen has been constructed using the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 
• 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC mobile chipset in the handset along with 2 GB RAM

Memory 

• 16 GB and 32 GB versions with memory card slot to support up to 128 GB micro SD card

OS Platform

• Android 4.4.2 KitKat version

Camera

• 16 megapixel camera with autofocus speed of 0.3 seconds at the back and it also boasts of the advanced High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode. 
• The camera can be used to shoot 4K resolution videos. 
• 2 megapixel front camera in Galaxy S5 for video calling

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is powered with 2800 mAh battery with new Ultra Power Saving mode to deliver longer run time. 5th generation WiFi (802.11ac) support along with Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 3.0, infrared port, NFC, USB on the go, WiFi Direct and DLNA features. Galaxy S5 comes with fingerprint sensor which can recognize up to 3 fingerprints.
